Two weeks old already... and most of the pups now have eyes open and are starting to lift themselves a little on their legs. They are able to move about much quicker. Yesterday they had a great treat - their first dose of wormer each, yum! They also had their toenails slightly clipped. All are very contented. They are beginning to find their voices and we think the first proper yap is not too far off.

One week old today...look how much bigger we are.. All puppies have more than doubled in weight in one week, which is as it should be, and this morning one puppy, Miss Purple, even opened her eyes! She might be the smallest at the moment but she is ahead of the rest eyes-wise and no doubt will soon be exploring her environment further.
Pups are five days old now and gaining weight fast. They are weighed every day and on target to double weight in the first week. All of them have collars on so we know who's who! They are sleeping and feeding a lot and of course their eyes are still closed at the moment. More photos are in the gallery here
It's the morning after and Molly and puppies are settling nicely into routine, and so are we. The photo below was taken at 08:48. Mum and pups are all doing well. More photos are in the 2018 gallery...here
Seven puppies - well done Molly! Four girls and three boys. Here under the glow of the heat lamp whilst mum pops out briefly...
The first puppies arrived just after midnight on Wednesday 15th August! First to arrive was a little girl, bum first, at 12:40, shortly followed by a little boy. Here with mum on the heat pad...less than 1 hour old.
This morning Molly came in with muddy front paws, She'd been digging a den amongst the the bamboo. She is panting a fair bit now, which is an early sign of being labour. Last time she did this puppies were born within 24 hours, ...so possible they could arrive on Cromer Carnival Day :)
